There is no reason to trash talk this Steelers team. We were forced to trash talk the Patriots for their actions on the field during that 45-3 game. Also, there is no reason to anger up this Pittsburgh defense; they can be just as nasty as our defense. We're focused on Steelers. We're focused on making it to the SB. Trash talking time is over and done with. When you have both Rex Ryan & Dennis Byrd in your corner, you don't have to worry about a "letdown". This team wants it, and we want it bad. We're playing rope-ah-dope with the Steelers through the media right now. Come Sunday, we'll be swinging for the knock out kill. Steelers won't know what hit en.
^+1 I'm not worried about a letdown. I'm worried about not winning the damn game. Its not easy to beat the steelers twice in one season at Heinz. The Jets have the better team and they can win the game, but worrying about not trash talking enough is hardly the concern.
Rex should show the celebration with balloons that Indy had last year with the Jets still on the field.
yeah, I'm sure because you are insecure and fearful because you have no control over the outcome that the players feel satisfied with simply beating the Patriots. how about you don't project your fears on the players mindset simply because you are afraid of the disappointment of losing.
I wouldn't worry about a letdown. I mean, if the Jets do lose, we can all just blame Schotty and make ourselves feel better.
