And the Colts almost lost to the Titans. Big whooping deal. Jets are horrible, Titans are horrible, Colts are overrated, and Jags are good.

Miami can beat us, Cleveland can beat us because it is in Cleveland, and Detroit can beat us to kick us in the balls because that is the way it goes rooting for the Jets.

The Jets this year have a once in lifetime schedule. We may not play Buffalo and Tennessee each week but our 10 out of divison games will never be better. 8 games against the two worst divisions in football and 2 games against Oakland and Cleveland. Any team in the league other than Tennessee and Oakland would be an immediate playoff contender with our schedule. So there is reason to be optimistic. Wins even against bad teams breeds optimism and wins.

If you think this team is horrible, then what did you think of the team we had last year or the squads that Richie K. fielded for us?

I was expecting failure this year, so I'm not that upset. But by no means at all are they even mediocre or slightly below. The running game is the worst in the league, the passing game was exposed today, the running defense got showed up by a horrible run team last week and dominated patheticly by a very good one today.

I blame myself for negative feelings. I came in expect a 4-6 win team at best, and I bought into a decent season after the first 3 weeks. After the Colts game, though, I was expecting a loss that wasn't close - but not quite this bad.
