Bastids! Even when I want them to do something positive for one minute they screw me. At the end of the first quarter it looked like they were getting a TD for sure but came up two or three yards short - cost me nine grand!

(The Iggles returned the favor at the end of the game by not getting a first down to run out the clock but instead kicked the junk time field goal to knock me off the number. Only four grand in another pool.)

That wasn’t a junk time FG; it put them up a TD and 2 point conversion. They absolutely needed that; obviously the best the Pats could do is tie at that point. Obvious number 2, if the Pats were down only five they could win the game. That FG was absolutely necessary.

 

Sure, but not necessary if they could have gotten a first down after the two minute warning.

 

Either way, I had the 1-3 square so I was happy to see it kicked.
