Bumping this thread for an update. Not much but I reported back in August 14th that I was down from 238 to 191. As of this morning I am down to 187. Another 4 LBS gone 8 weeks. Need to lose another 7 LBS and upcoming holiday season won't make my life easy. At this point, I will just try to maintain my 187 until first week of January as I don't expect to lose much weight with football season and upcoming holidays. One thing I can't give up is tailgates. Need to tag @Dierking here as he has been up my ass multiple times. Need to hear a few good words from him now I have lost 51 LBS in 9.5 months. Hey doc, my doc. What do you say?
Wow, you really were a fat bastard! A buck eighty - ninety doesn't sound ridiculous, provided you're otherwise fairly fit. I wouldn't kill yourself to lose another few pounds, just keep the maintenance up and don't gain it all back, unless you have a doctor telling you otherwise. You just lost like 20% of your body mass, that's a lot.
You need to replace that fat with muscle now if you aren't already. Take advantage of that heightened metabolism and you can throw on muscle fast.
