I dont expect that, but I do expect him to be honest. Chan is always honest, when he's asked about shitty players he is never fake. For example, last week the media asked him about Vince Young. He's been fucking terrible. Everyone knows it. Chan said something along the lines of "He's really struggling right now. He's going to have to improve if he's going to make this team." I dont see why that wouldnt be acceptable. Why cant Rex, or any coach for that matter, just be honest? What's wrong with saying that Wayne is struggling? If the player (Wayne) can't handle it, and runs and cries to his wife, then he doesnt need to be playing football and you shouldnt want him on your team.
Jason Smith was drafted 3 spots ahead of Mark Sanchez. Wow. Bust City. Which makes him 1,000,000 times better than Wayne Hunter.
tanny yet again finds a way to trade for a former 1st round pick who's underperformed in his career. lets hope it works out.
Hunter's contract was 2.5 mill fully gtd. Smith's contract is 4 mill fully gtd. They both suck, why throw away 1.5 mill in cap space like that? If you don't know what to do with it give it to Revis!
I'm with you buddy. I am stunned that this fanbase continually lets Rex Ryan lie to the media and get away with it. It is unbelievable that no one cares that Rex Ryan, the only person to ever lie to the media, is still head coach of the Jets. I don't want to live in a world where the media, especially the hard working folks of sports media, are ever lied to. What a disgrace.
It's too bad Rex doesn't follow Mike T's example of colorful personality and enthusiastic long winded explanations to answer reporter questions. Oh well, maybe the next coach.
On a pointless note, I just realized that the Jets now have 3 of the top 11 picks in the 2009 draft on their roster right now.
The fact is, Wayne Hunter has to be as happy as Jets fans are. I mean the guy couldn't walk the streets in the NY Metro area without people glaring at him. He gets to go out to St. Louis where he can be a backup again and just fade into the background in Shotty's offense, just like before. Yes Wayne Hunter is a very happy man right now... as are we. As far as the move goes, man I want A VETERAN BACKUP! I really don't know anything about this guy but it appears he's not a starter if something happens to Howard. I still want a veteran. Somebody call McKenzie or something. This is not a fix by any means.
