Bilal Powell is a far better player than Tommy Bohanon. The difference in ability is actually staggering.
Winters is praying Dozier takes over Center backup duties (kicking Freeman to the curb). If Dozier can't handle it and Freeman stays, Adios to Winters would be my guess. It's a numbers game. We have 2 really good (but aged) lineman and about 30 guys who all kinda suck. Jesus Christ. Maybe it's time we start shooting our 1st round wad on O-lineman like Dallas has done. After QB and pass rusher of course.
For now, I have the Jets keeping Tommy Bo, but I agree. They don't need a FB. Sheldon can play FB when he comes back, but also there are options for Amaro to play FB. I could also see other DL as well as guys like Stacy being FB. FB is probably the easiest position to manufacture from existing players. I'd rather have no legit FB and keep a guy like Rontez Miles or Zac Stacy than keep T-Bo
Do you know anything about the Copeland kid? Bohannon may be a better receiving option, but I believe that Copleland is a much better blocker. I'm not sure about carrying the ball. He may be an option as well.
I don't think winters is making this team. i think they will redshirt harrison and cut winters. i can't see them exposing Harrison by trying to get him on the practice squad As far as fb goes. Not sure gailey needs one. He can probably get what he needs by mixing and matching the tight ends as h-backs. i.m.o.
It looks like two big complaints about my picks came true sooner rather than later. WR DeVier Posey and C Dalton Freeman are gone, but I expect them back on the PS.

Thank God the team is prac down to 53 I have not felt more comfortable with letting the CS decide on who stays or goes in friggin years. Bowles knows wht he is doing. Gailey knows a thing or two. Lets let them do their job and we sleep at night. Maybe we become serious Div contenders who knows? We have all been in footbal draught agony since March Lets get this motha going already.
