Kinda. Just not for the reasons i didnt quote. Its time to finally get younger and better at the OLB spot. Its a huge need!
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000065843/article/bryan-thomas-brought-back-by-new-york-jets?module=HP11_headline_stack Jets just re-signed Thomas
He was hurt last year and continues to be more hurt then NOT. . . . this is why I said in other posts about players being fully healed prior to coming back.
Expected this. Thomas doesn't sound happy about being cut, but he wasn't going to play anyway, and he's getting paid either way, so he'll fall in line.
We need Bryan Thomas. I know he's not a mega line backer, but he helps a lot in stopping the run and it was obvious when he was out the last 2 games. We need him more than Revis for the Niners.
I agree. In the past the Jets have been very stout against the run but this year miserable so far. That's a big reason why the Jets are dead last in the league right now for 3rd down conversion percentage (56%). The next worst team is 51%... 5% is a LOT. We need BT to seal his side of the field.
Too funny..they actually didn't cut him again. Conor Orr @ConorTOrr I'm hearing from the #jets that Bryan Thomas has not been cut. Still on roster. #nyj Or maybe they did..didn't..did..didn;t... Seth Walder @SethWalderNYDN Jets did not cut Bryan Thomas. My mistake. Email error. BT is a damn good run stopper. Just really can't do anything else, especially at this point in his career.
