This is news now? He's been playing like this since his days at LSU when he nearly tried to kill Brady Quinn in the sugar bowl a few years back. He threw a late hit on Clemens in 2007 and has always played like this. The coaches AND fans should have known this.

There's a reason he's called "Dirty Thirty". Sometimes that chip is great but sometimes it back fires and he gets called on flags. I don't think Landry was clapping because a guy's hurt....Landry's not a doctor nor in the heat of the moment even know what is going on. His job is to make tackles and to create big plays and he did just that(Especially yesterday, without him no win)

Lets not make it out like this is Richie Incognito trying to snap someone's leg after a play's over or lineman like Pouncey aiming for blocks below the knees in the open field when a play isn't even near by.

Bush is a fragile back who has had tons of injuries over his career. Yeah I don't know if Calvin should have come out public-ally with the comments but I mean there was a great risk of Bush getting hurt given the surgeries he's come back from. He's been an injury prone player since his days in No.

Oh shut up...He was clapping for making a hard hitting play. Not intending to injure someone...The guy is a injury bug himself

lol I have no problem with hard legal hits. But constantly going after players' knees and hitting guys out of bounds is crossing the line.

And for people bringing up his injury issues, that is a result of his own play. That and the fact that your joints can only take so much added mass before they break down.

“Reggie, I guess he was doing his thing for a quarter or two,” LB Calvin Pace said. “We had to put him on out, and we didn’t see him again after that.”

This site is fucked. I keep having to redo all of my responses today.

I don't see the problem with what Pace said right there. It sounds more like he was talking about keeping him on the outside, not injuring him and knocking him out the game. I could be wrong, quote mines never tell the whole story. What was the question?

lol I think you're reading it wrong. I've never heard anybody refer to keeping a runner on the outside as "We had to put him on out". Not to mention the fact that Reggie is a way better outside runner so that would make zero sense.

Calvin is kind of a meathead douche. He was one of the guys complaining after the 09 win when we used a lot of wildcat wasn't he?

Landry is a boss so don't get your panties all in a bunch.

I hope Landry "Terry Tate's" the OP then claps afterwards.

Landry is imposing and intimidating out there. You tend to hear footsteps when your running a route in the middle.
I wasnt too happy abt him clapping but there is no way to prove he was celebrating another players injury.

    C. Pace made comments that can be misleading. On that play where Bush got hurt nothing illegal/dangerous occured. I think Bush was playing physical, and aggressive. He was jumping into guys like Revis early on, but like last year he got hurt again.

I think its ridiculous to think Pace or the Jets tried to hurt bush... ON any given moment with or w/o contact you can be hurt, ask Revis, you dont need C. Pace trying to injure anybody.

You are talking about Landry's class?

While we have a receiver who cant get a first down without dropping the ball like an tool?
Granted he is the reason why we won, so was Landry.

Yup, Landry has been well known as dirty since he was a college player.

Classic example of a guy who you hate if he's not on your own team.

He has no class for catching the ball from Tannenhill and running it into the endzone.
