He didn't just " Not Play Well" he was drafted 6th overall in a draft where two future franchise QBs were taken and ended up being the biggest bust in draft history.He never even recorded a single sack,Mark Sanchez didn't play well ....Gholston was a complete bust who set the franchise back .He basically robbed the franchise for millions of dollars when you think about it...he got paid millions to not do what he was drafted for.The 2008 draft class was a pretty solid one to if Rex Ryan couldn't get anything out of him then that really tells me all I need to know about Vernon Gholston http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?season=2008
we didn't have a chance at Ryan so that has nothing to do w/ anything and why would I wish bad upon a human being just b/c he couldn't play at this level? it's one thing if he was raping and robbing or doing something stupid. His "crime" was being a bad NFL player, I have nothing against the man and I wish him well. I hate that he sucked, I wish he succeeded but it doesn't do me any good wasting my time hating a man over that.
