Nice win, but still a terrible road trip, and 7-5 against Wahington, Florida, and Pittsburgh is not acceptable.

Now comes what is the toughest part of the schedule - 10 series (31 games) up to the All-Star break against teams with a combined winning percentage of .612 (counting the Phils and Yanks twice). Hope they're not under .500 at the break, although if they are maybe Omar and Jerry could be gone?

No chance of that with the DL Mets on the fold.

I agree that there is little chance of Omar being gone, but I actually think that if the Mets are under .500 at the All-Star break there's a decent chance that Manuel will be fired, since a post-change miracle would be the only thing that could save Omar's job.
