K-rod is terrible. There was an article about this a couple weeks ago, in Newsday I think, everyone is killing Omar for Ollie. But K-rod has been pretty terrible too.
Hoffman does the Mets a favor - it's obvious that Rodriguez would have given up the game-winning hit to the next batter.

Perfect ending to a perfect road trip. Krod's no Heath Bell. No Armando Benitez or Aaron Heilman either. Dollar for dollar...he's worse.
The Krod signing might be the worst of the Omar tenure. I know a lot of people were against this signing as with Bay as well. The thing is if Omar doesn't trade away Bell on Lindstrom we don't even have Krod on the the roster. I wanted Fuentes personally but he hasn't exactly been a world beater either so we would have been fucked either way. So glad I didn't decided to waste my money in San Diego this week, I'm stupid though so at some point this season I'll waste it on this team... like in San Francisco in July.
