The lineup is hitting well. There is a glimmer of hope to salvage the season if they can keep this up.

My Christ Soriano is locked in.

To be where we are without Jeter, Granderson and Teixeira (could also argue A Rod) is pretty remarkable.

The first half was successful. We were around 10 gms over .500 after 81 gms despite rolling Wells, Hafner, David Adams and Overbay out there daily. We fell the fuck off in July. It's been a disappointing last few weeks with the regulars coming back and the team playing shitty.

Kuroda vs Lackey tmrw, CC vs Dumpster on Sunday night. Must wins.

Yankees and Jets games tmrw I'm quite excited I love when they play right after each other.

Dempster threw at A-Roid twice in one at bat

Clearly bias take by me here,

But either Dempster has to get warned after the first pitch or Dempster gets tossed after hitting Arod in this scenario. Now the sox keep their pitcher AND the Yankees cannot retaliate. How is that fair?

Either give the warning after the first one, if you don't, throw Dempster and then warn both teams.

Joe Giradi absolutely had a right to get pissed off.

I agree 100%. Bias aside.... Arod deserves to get shit for what he did to the game. But for Christs sake. The umpire handled that piss poorly. Dempster should have been tossed. Now the Yankees cant do shit.

    these moronic announcers

CC threw a curve that was inside, and was called a ball. All the announcers say the ump blew the call.

Then they show pitchtrax. Clearly off the plate.

    Also tonight:

"Being patient is not necessarily taking pitches. Being patient can also be swinging at the first pitch & hitting a double. That gets a pitcher's pitch count elevated."

He was the one who made the hilarious comment about what patience is.

Schilling is the most biased announcer in the history of the world.

I've been scanning Twitter and (almost) everyone hates Schilling.

I wish Girardi would have just gone to the mound an kicked Dempster's butt, then just gone up to the booth and kicked Schilling's too.

Schilling and Kruk saying that a PED rule change is coming next year is insane. They BOTH know that the CBA can't be opened until 2016

I'm not fond of listening to Curt Schilling in almost any context, but I must say, he's a pretty good analyst.

It's just an interesting move by ESPN to put an ex player who was big in a rivalry like this as an announcer. You are asking someone who played and clearly favors one side to try and turn down their bias.

Apparently the Yankees retaliated by throwing at the umpire.
