I guess I'll take the strikeout instead. Great win!

Yeah, but I've been told he isn't that great.

    Really?!?! I wonder by who?

That 85 mph slider to end the game was nasty.

    You know, you can...

    Oh. Wait.

I shouldn't say anything. Wouldn't want you to run off crying to a mod or threatening to leave again...

BTW: The Yankees are in first place right now. Where, exactly, are the Mets? Just curious.

Someone who is apparently unimpressed by phenomenal stuff, just under a K an inning, a WHIP of 1.00, and an ERA of 0.82. Oh yeah, and he's 23. He's not that great though.

This was simply a great, great baseball game tonight. Excellent pitches, wonderful hits, tremendous game-ending 85mph sliders. It had it all. It had it all, folks.

You know, I could run off to a mod to whine about you cursing at me, but that would make me no better than you.

    Grow up kid.

Hey where was the RedSox @ Mets game-thread?

After all, it was at Fenway.

Let's see here. I made a comment about a baseball team that this thread is about. Then you brought up moderators and a baseball team not covered in this thread. Great job by you. Almost as good a job as the Red Sox.

I was with you on that at one time, but then I learned.
It is considered courageous to whine to the mods about negative Yankess talk.

I could care less...I know your act by now and it's just as common as JoeJet. So why let it bother me when I know it's an act?

You can post away, like I've said before.

I'm glad Burnett had a shitty outing. Even if, let's say, CC was pitching into the 8th and gave up 4, no way the Yanks were going to hit Beckett tonight anyway.

Wow, for the record, I've never reported a single user for anything on this board. Never.

I also don't curse at people.

But I guess a sense of class isn't for everyone.

I said it earlier, but I was in Maine that weekend for a wedding. I didn't even get to watch any of the games.

Perhaps the Yankees need more Omir Santos when up at Fenway.
