If this team can't beat Brad fuckin Penny who's not even going to be on the Red Sox come July then I'm at a loss.
Wow, I thought Penny would have given up 7 runs by now. He came out amped up though, hitting 96 in the first inning. He's usually been in the low 90s to start games.
This is easily the best I've seen Penny all year. He's throwing harder with better command and his breaking stuff is on too...
Don't worry guys. After the Mets we have the Nationals and Marlins. The Yankees will go back on a winning streak and we can just look back on this series as the small sample size that it is.
