Did you know: Since 2002 including playoffs the Red Sox and Yankees have played against each other 150 times with each team winning 75 games.
That's insane. Also, I wonder if Beckett starts to be affected by sitting for so long every inning. That's three 20ish minute waits already.
I'm glad I'm missing this shit. I "accidentally" accepted to get my updates for my receiver from Directv. So, i'm staring at a loading screen.
Its one game Alio, relax. Ok, its 6 games. Whatever. Glad im missing this horseshit of a game. First coat of paint is fresh, its time to break to get some food, then get back at it....
It's not just one or six games. It's the fact that the pitching can't compete with the Sox lineup. It's the fact that they're standing there at the plate making Beckett look like Nolan Ryan. It's letting David "now batting sixth" Ortiz hit a home run in his first at-bat, his league (not) leading 3rd of the year. It's exactly what I've said over and over again over the past few years. This team can look unbeatable against 80% of the league, but against the true playoff teams, they show they're just the best of the rest.
Please. If you honestly think Veras was throwing at him you don't know anything about Veras. Put it this way, if Veras were throwing at someone, the ball would land in the broadcast booth.
