Other than Sanchez, Tebow, Revis, and Ryan is anyone being talked out outside of the NY media?

Mo Wilkerson will be better this year and I will attribute that to Karl Dunbar. Dunbar might be the best off season acquisition the team made. I thought having Mark Carrier as DL coach was weird. I think Dunbar will have these guys playing. But already there are rumbling out of camp that Coples is not making any impact. You know it won't be long before the New York media starts calling him the dreaded "G word".

If 'ALOT' say he will... how is it possible that 'no one is paying attention too' him?

    Media attention:
    Rex
    Potential Revis Holdout
    Sanchez vs. Tebo
    Holmes vs. the World.

    ====
Without doing any research and simply pulling crap out of nowhere any hack journalist will draw tons to reader attention/response with these hot topics. Sucks but we've gotta resort to forums/blogs and other non-mainstream media outlets for real Jets news/updates. Just gonna have to ride out this cloud of nonsense until football is actually being played and then journalists will actually be able to discuss the games.

You're comparing an unproven, 2nd year player to one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL?

I think our whole D line is going to be much improved this year. Rex knows what he's doing with that line. Wilk and Coples are going to make each other better, and we will be much better at stopping the run this year. I think I'm looking forward to Maybin the most. He has so much promise, and it seems like he can only get better.

I think our biggest under rated weapon this year is Laron Landry. He puts our secondary over the top IMO. Major upgrade over Smith and our #5 against the pass defense, will probably be back up to #1 this year. Yes he got injured for less than half of the last 2 years, (missed 7 games in 10, 8 in 11) but before that he was healthy for 3 years straight, so I think he'll be fine. He is a beast, and I'm looking forward to him laying the wood this year.

I have to agree with Gaytriots fan here, fuck! While Mo is on the rise, he is no JPP. Their games are not similar at all really. Do I think WIlk will have a break out year? Yes I do and I am excited for that. But, he will not be in the mold of JPP.

PS I hope I eat my words on this one!

    You wish.

Hope you're right, but I'm going with........

Ellis! Jail makes you a better player. It humbles a man, makes him disciplined mentally. Helps a man control his diet. he becomes leaner. Harder mentally...

Seriously, I think the lack of training camp and the trial and prison thing being the only thing anyone asked about held him back. It wasn't a true rookie season. he will contribute more this year than most people think.

Jail can also make a man a little more nervous in the shower.

That is not 'ALOT', even in terms of biased sources. You need to think a little longer before you click Submit.

You're right. Plax was a monster last season.

Seriously, jail may make someone look at their life with more perspective, but it doesn't make them better football players. Vick is the exception, not the rule.
