Wrong, Nugent got hurt as he was attempting the 30 yard kick that he missed badly. (That kick would have made it 10-0 and would have totally changed the complexion of that game) The jets also failed on a 2 point conversion instead of kicking an extra point to make it 14-7. That makes up for the extra 4 points right there. Also, if you watched the game, it was obvious the Jets dominated the game for 3 quarters and should have won easily. It's funny to hear dolphin fans, a lot of them make it sound like they had the game wrapped up.

Yeah because that was the ONLY thing in the game that was impacted by not having a kicker. Dolphins fans rule. We really stole that game from you, didn't we?

    Fins?!?!?!? winning the Divsion?!?!?!?

Ummmm...check the injury report. Ole Noodle Arm has about reached his yearly maximum of starts.

(and what happens when defensive coordinators institute a base against the wildcat...?)

The fact is that the Fish are much improved. Are they actually as good as their record has indicated so far? Probably not.

They will lose a couple in terrible fashion before the season ends.

It will be a pleasure to beat them the last game of the year.

Btw, the raiders are hanging in there in Miami . . . they just sacked pennington in the endzone for a safety and trail 7-5 late in the third.

Be it noted that Noodle Arm led the winning drive against Oakland. I am amazed how good he has been for us this year.

That said, as a Dolphins fan I am thrilled that we're 6-4, but I don't think we're that good overall. The last two weeks, we beat two of the worst teams in football by two points apiece. Our offense and defense are OK, but our special teams are teeth-grindingly bad -- not only do we consistently give opposing teams long runbacks, we consistently stick our own offense in horrible field position.

We do have some weak opponents still to go, but I am not very optimistic about any of our remaining AFC East games. The Jets seem to have gotten it together. Our best chance in week 17 is if NY has its seeding wrapped up and decides to sit its starters.

Well said, ukjetsfan. Sometimes you can see things more clearly from an ocean away.

My friend who's a dolphins fan keeps telling me that the Fish are back. I tell him to wait til they play the Jets. I hope that the Dolphins have a chance going into the last week and the Jets crush them.

The Jets won 3 more games than the Dolphins last year, yet to listen to Jet fans you were the SB champs. I also love how a few Dolphin fans suddenly represent the whole of Dolphin fans. I can't think of too many Dolphin fans who think we're anything special, especially after the last two weeks. Jet fans sure are an arrogant bunch.
