I can't say anything about the last two drafts, which look good so far, but then, Maroney looked good at one point. It's also pretty much a given that young guys make the active roster, at least in the first year or two. I'm not going to credit them that.

Bingo! Their drafting has been awful! Nobody left from '06, only Meriweather from '07 and he has been benched recently and misses way too many tackles and only Mayo from '08. Even the '09 draft is just so-so. Butler has already been benched for an undrafted FA and Brace has been a huge disappointment. Vollmer looks like he has a future. Chung and Tate have been great on STs but too early to tell on offense and defense. '10 is off to a good start but we'll see.

Keep in mind they could have stayed put in '09 and drafted Clay Matthews (they still need a pass rusher) but got cute and traded down.

    Chad Jackson 2nd fail
    Maroney 1st fail
    Wheatley 2nd fail
    O'Connell 3rd fail
    Crable (who?) 3rd fail

I think some of these guys like Spikes and Cunningham are only playing because they don't have anybody else. We sure exploited Spikes with Keller down the seam all day.

Ask any patriots fan how they think they have drafted the last 4-5 years.
