I thought the last PI against the Titans was a poor call all the others were legit. I thought the reversal of the holding call on the Titans against Jenkins was BS.
There were a lot of pass interference penalties against the Titans, but every one was fair. The DBs from Tennessee, especially Chris Carr, were all over the recievers today.
How was the last PI call a bad one? The DB held Coles by the arm. He turned Coles into a one armed receiver. That's illegal. Just because it was more subtle than most PI infractions doesn't make it any less of a penalty.
I had no problem with the calls either way. Human error always happens, and I thought they called it pretty evenly. I had more of a problem with the pissed off Titans starting to play a little dirty there for a while. Vickerson stomping on TJ's head a la Haynesworth and coming up spitting? Nice. Even still, it was just a couple of guys on a couple of plays.
No bad calls when the Jets marched down the field on the first series of each half. No bad calls on Favre's thread the needle pass to Coles. No bad calls on Leon's huge touchdown run. The Jets offense won the game today - refs had little to do with it.
Definately disagree every penalty that was called if you look with your eyes at every replay you can clearly see the penalties. None were givin to us , Carr just always touches the receiver and holds on. Too fuckin bad Titans. They were getting beat down anyway.
