Good show. When he mentioned the Giants I got nauseous. We're not getting him. Hopefully the Browns take him.

Me too. Take a look at the game against Penn State. He was outstanding. I watched it with a few friends at a Penn State bar here in Florida.

At this point as a fan, most have made up their minds . If your pro Darnold you will come away thinking he was great, if your pro (any other QB) your going to focus on the poor throws.
IMO, he did good. Far from great. Showed some touch on some passes and was off on others. Almost dropped a couple of balls which is a concern.
Thought Rosen was more impressive during his pro day. Interested to see how Allen does next.

QBs arent usually bothered by rain. Its wind that drives them crazy and can cause problems for some. We get gusting winds all the time, lets not make it sound like we play in a dome. Weather has to be taken into account

If he's available at 3 with Rosen and Mayfield off the board, I wouldn't hesitate to select him. But, he will likely have to sit for at least half a season to fix his biggest flaws. That said, I totally expect the Browns to take him with the 1st pick.

    Wholeheartedly agree.

I think Teddy, if healthy, will surpass McCown on the chart and start week 1.

If Teddy can’t get it done we’ll move to McCown and ultimately our draft pick in either week 16 or 17.

Probably, but Rosen might be a day 1 starter. He's as polished a passer as they come.

Maybe. Depends on the OL performance up until then. Don’t want to get anyone killed.

I’d hope it’s as soon as we are mathematically eliminated

I don't understand why anyone cares about pro days. A workout is going to change your opinion of a QB who played 2 season of college games?

I'm not overly impressed by any of these QBs but I have to be honest, Darnold looked good at his pro day.

    What I liked:
He continued to spin it in the rain.
He moved very well in the drills where he rolled out. Showed fluid hips changing direction and throwing on the run.
Hit receivers with anticipation. Slants and ins led but wouldn't get his guys decapitated. Balls were where they should be.
Threw naturally. Didn't appear to be aiming it.
Threw a nice, accurate deep ball with ease.

    What I didn't like:
The ball slipped a few times on the "snap." Considering he isn't actually under center and has TO concerns, that worries me.
Hung a few deep balls. I mean the ball got there every time, so arm strength isn't an issue, but a flew kinda floated.
Granted it was raining, but a few of his releases were wobbly as a result.

I thought his receivers didn't do him any favors. Lots of drops. Poorly run routes and Ronald Jones was clearly hampered so Sam couldn't let it rip when throwing to him. I also didn't like the fact that they didn't run enough routes that allowed him to show touch. Not his fault but woulda been nice. If Darnold falls to us, I'm comfortable.

Of course he looked great at his pro day, it’s a pro day. So did Mayfield & Rosen and I’m sure Allen will too.

Unfortunately I do think Darnold is the 1st pick though so Rosen or Allen will have to do.
