RIP Steve, and RIP to the unnamed woman who was murdered alongside him.

Condolences to all who knew either of them. When will the madness end?

To be fair, they probably don't have anyone in their studios right now to do a live story. It's the offseason and a holiday.

McNair was always a tough hardnosed player that any Steeler fan couldn't help but respect and he ALWAYS played some of his best games against the Steelers.

I am very saddened to learn of his death.

    This is disgusting....

    nice...

You know, a while ago, I jokingly set my Messenger tagline to read "Mark Sanchez - 11/11/1986 - 10/12/2009" in reference to the Jets @ Miami MNF game.
I work in South Florida so needless to say, most of the guys I work with are Dolphins fans. It was one of those stupid football fan rivalry things. Does it mean I want Mark Sanchez to die? Of course not. In fact, I hope he has a GREAT career. He seems like a nice kid after all. The intent behind my tagline was mostly along the lines of "I hope Joey Porter gets 8 sacks on his ass". You know - hoping my team will win and all...

    With all that being said...

To post wishing for the death of a retired rival QB in a thread about a QB who was just MURDERED hours ago (even though it probably was a sorry attempt for a joke) just shows some EXTREMELY bad taste.

    Anyway. RIP Steve McNair.

I actually wonder what the range of reactions WOULD be around here if Marino dropped dead.

As much as I despised the man, he deserved a ring.

Back on topic. This sure is starting to sound like Steve was messing with someone's woman. The female was identified but it is not his wife Michelle.

The sad thing is if somebody was messing around with my woman...fuck her. I'd walk out teh door and cancel all those credit cards. I wouldn't fucking shoot her in the head... it's just one more reason there needs to be stricter gun control. In the old days guys would go out in the street and fight like men not shoot somebody like a pussy. The good news is if it's messing around with somebody else's woman the coward should not eb hard to find and in a state like Tennessee he'll be dead in due time.

Police just said he was shot "multiple" times, and Sahel Kazemi, 20, was found next to him with 1 gunshot wound to the head, and a pistol next to her.

Maybe Fox was right all along.

Yikes!!!!....OK police detective, if the pistol was next to her, does that mean it was a possible murder/suicide??!!
