    1. If Jets had average QB playing for them, they would have won more than just 3 more games. (How many times do you guys have to see Sanchez throwing picks from his own end zone to realize this?)

    2. The defense is not bad, but lacks speed at the second level. That is what kills this defense. And that QB up there in Foxboro knows it all too well.

    3. Shipping either between Revis and Cro is not dumb - it is logical instead. See how the pass defense has been holding up just fine, regardless of Revis's presence. He sure is a good CB, I know. But do the Jets need both Revis AND Cro? At nearly 20M of salary cap figure? I don't think so. Jets can find good LB with that cap money and be still rock-solid at the back four. (This season showed all of us how Ryan still keeps the secondary tight and accountable even without Revis.)

    4. I do not want Holmes. Period. He had better take a hike. I'd much prefer Edwards/Hill/Kerley/Keller and maybe (if he tags along cheap) Fasano.

    5. Jets have to shed the stupid albatross contracts as soon as possible. You can't pay 100M to 10 guys, then expect the other 30 or so fringe players to perform to the level of NFL standard all season long. That is not happening. (On a sidenote: what happened to the salary figures? I just checked nyjetscap.com, to find that Sanchez has a cap figure of some 8M, as opposed to 14+ that they were showing previously. Anybody got a clue?)

I would not mind Holmes back if we have a new starter at QB. Look for him to (try to) play better because of the change.

His value will be at such a high though, that you may have to at least bait him and see.

Hopefully we can reconstruct Revis' contract and keep him long term.
