In the last 23 games Johnson has been active for only 5 of them

so yeah if someone offers a nice deal you take it because availability is important

He won't be inexpensive. No team is doing the Jets any favors they know the Jets are desperate.

No team is giving us a starting QB for a 5th round pick. I think Shedeur would cost a third round pick possibly even a second if they want to aquire him.

Only magnifies even more how badly these people mismanaged the Jets QB situation.

It's terrible what these people did to us.

They should throw the fans a bone. I think many Jets fans would be excited about seeing Shedeur play for the Jets but I don't think they'll do it they should do it but won't do it.

The Jets should not and will not trade for Shedeur Sanders. That would be a huge mistake.

Honestly, what's the worst that can happen? Stash him on the bench for a year and then see what he can do.

Trade him for Jakobi Meyers. Guy is in the exact same situation for the Raiders. We stand to improve at WR a lot more than we fall off at RB, and we probably get the same comp pick after the season.

Well after last night, given the beating the Browns are taking in the media for trading their best QB to a division rival for a 5th, there's no shot that they will trade ANOTHER QB this year. So Shedeur is out for now.

Flacco is another QB the Jets used to have.

Look what they choose to get stuck with.

    What a dysfunctional organization.

Yes, he had a major injury, and then came back quickly playing huge minutes without any preseason. It's not unusual to overcompensate and get a few knocks along the way in that situation. Same thing happened to Barkley. I do not think it is fair to say he is injury prone at this time. This is not like AVT: he stayed healthy 1st two seasons, and let's see if he can stay healthy the rest of this season. There is no need to pull the trigger now for what will likely be a 3d round pick. He is still young and after blowing JFM I at least want to see this season play out before we make any decisions on him.

Flacco sucked. He sucked this year as well in Cleveland. I think his performance in Cincy was an aberration, or he just didn't care when he was with bad teams.

I can't blame them for Flacco. Rodgers was also not going to be useful here honestly. I blame them for Fields.

Yeah but Flacco wasn't good here. Remember that last game he had here against Miami? Rodgers wasn't good here either, somewhat below average and only helped to 5 games. The thing is, until we get a coach who can take advantage of these players' strengths, it won't matter. We need a good offensive minded HC. Even now, everyone knows Fields strength is being dual threat. If you are not going to use that, why even play him? Even I, who wanted Fields here, was hoping that he could be just OK as a passer, plus elite dual threat would overall make him average, and then go from there. Without using his legs, it's pointless. And yet after 1st game we are using that less and less. We had Sam here for fuck's sake, and managed to ruin him too. He is top 3 QB in the NFL right now at age 28 with someone else.

We need people who can work with these QBs or it will be the same shit again and again and again. Which is why if we end up with top 3 pick, pending miraculous turnaround, I don't want AG to make that selection and ruin another guy. We need an established (not necessarily as HC but at least as a good OC) offensive guy here if we are to select another QB.

Breece is on the table for a trade. no real reason to keep him around as this team ain't winning shit for at least another 3 years.

Not unless they strike QB gold in next year's draft. And even then, we're looking at minimum 2 years.

Why not start with the best QB coach who can be found, regardless of who you can put in the QB stable? Why not use the best technology available to give your QBs a boost in visualizing and decision making? Why not find the ultimate conditioning programs in biomechanics? If the Jets were attempting any of this I would think they'd be crowing all about it. They are not.

I think we can get a first round pick for Hall if we traded him to the Cowboys. I'd do it.

Yeah.... No chance you're getting anything above a fifth and seventh.

For a first, I'll drive him to the airport myself
