Indeed. It's a completely fake narrative. I saw videos of the national guard in DC, cleaning up trash in parks and along roads. Pretty fucking silly to call in the guard to be on trash cleanup duty, while claiming crime is out of control and nobody is safe. What a complete lie.

What are the odds that the guard is just the early phase until they get replaced with privatized military units from Constellis and DynCorp? I don't see the guard being all that effective in any respect.

Yeah they are spewing a completely false narrative and using it as a pretext to invade our own cities and kill people. This is flat out disgusting and it needs to be stopped. Surely even republicans don't want this, RIGHT? Could you imagine the conversation if it was the other side invading red states with the military?
the hell with imagining "the other side", the other side here doesnt try this.. other countries actually have done this: they expand the power of the executive, consolidate his influence with the media, and they send troops to the largest cities calling it a war. we have big words for that activity when others do it, but the twitter mob gets mad if you use them about our own country lol
