Thank you. Sometimes I wonder if the Cro haters were even watching the game. He had a very good game. I think if I recall correctly LaFell dropped three passes when Cro as guarding him, but imo Cro's play on two of them was a factor in the drop. Only one was cleanly on LaFell. Otherwise Cro played well in other situations. I am encouraged by Williams, but how would he do playing most defensive snaps? I think as you do that the CS has their opinion about that one.

As for some earlier posts talking about draft needs, that's more an off season discussion. But I will say on that anyone leaving out Qb as a draft need should reconsider doing so.

I agree. It wasn't a clear cut out right win by NE. A few breaks and we could have easily won this. That end zone play involving Cumberland should have been pass interference and a 1st and goal penalty.

Well I wasn't advocating for Harrison to be on the field in pass rush situations. I was just saying that this team really has no excuses in not getting pressure at some point with a 4 man rush. It shows the limitations of Wilk/Richardson in that they're not guys that are going to come screaming off the edge to at least force a quick throw.

Coples on the field in that set could help a lot. Not that he's elite but he's actually touched a quarterback before unlike Harrison.

That wishlist sounds like a three year rebuilding process in which we come out on top with a TON of studs considering some of the positions you outlined already have quality players in the statting spot.

As far as a pass rusher, many on here would have sold their mama for a shot at #1 overall pick David Clowney (Texans), who has become an even bigger bust than Gholston, if that's even possible. It's really hard to spot the next Lawrence Taylor so maybe you're right, call the Cowboys. Offer them Cumberland and maybe Stacy.

If throwing the ball to Kerley takes him off special teams I am all for it.

Anything but another one of his damned fair catches.

Also, you guys don't seem to understand that there are 31 other teams that would kill to have a #2 CB half as good as Cro.

I've never known you to be a "homer," but you sound a bit like one at the moment. Can the Jets beat the Pats a game or two with the present roster? Yes, Can they do it consistently? No, not imo. As the two rosters presently exist, I think the Pats would win 2 out of 3 every time.

I think I'm the only one who mentioned draft needs. QB IS a definite and obvious need. I didn't mention it because at least at this point, I don't think there's a single QB I would take in round 1. That is subject to change as I see the kid from Memphis play, and hopefully more of Goff, but at this point, I'd rather the Jets use their picks on upgrading other positions, and roll with the same QBs they have now. I don't think there's a single QB in college now that could help the Jets for the next season or two. I'm really hoping that Petty will develop.

I don't necessarily disagree with notion that Pats would win the majority of games in a series but it wouldn't be because their roster is better. The Pats don't line up an play straight football. They know we would manhandle them if they did. What they do with great proficiency is scheme us to death, completely outclass us in making the right in game adjustments and playing situational football. Until we can get at their level in those areas, it won't matter what our roster looks like. Any objective football fan would tell you that our current 53 man roster is better than theirs; that's not homerism.

Cro needs to get benched. His attempt at tackling on that long touchdown was a joke. Didn't even use his arms. So sad man

If we had beat New England, this game would have been considered a hiccup. Now we're on a losing streak and moral victories are out the door. I just hope we can beat Jacksonville, which at this point, I doubt it.
