You are all being ridiculous. My grandfather is a retired Marines Bridgadier General who flew a plane in WWII and was involved all the way up to the beginning of Vietnam. The last thing I would do is insult or mock veterans. I have the utmost respect for them. Sorry if I think there is a difference between having respect for US veterans and having a US veteran call attention to their service both permanently in their avatar and sig and at any opportunity and trying to shove it down people's throats in conversation completely unrelated to the military. My opinion is far from disrespectful. But continue with your righteous indignation if that makes it easier for you than it is to attack the merit of my opinion.
