The more I think about this accomplishment the Jets made this year, the more I like it. I can now walk around and claim to have had just as many INTs this season as an entire NFL team.
It would have been easier for a team to do this when it was a 14 game season, but not the Jets. They waited until the league was extended to 17 games, baby. The New York Jets can fail through a flaming hoop.
I get laughed at ALL the time. And by RAIDERS fans as well. Then again, at least they've been to the playoffs TWICE in the last 10 years.
Let's not forget that wicked point differential! I think that goes back a ways too! Oh, and another, no NFL team, in the modern era, has had a receiver UNDER 400 yards receiving, for the year! When all the rules and everything are GEARED to the success of the offense.
I'm blown away (not in a good way) by the stats & records in this thread. And some or all of these are likely to never be broken? It's so sad.
Maybe next year they can follow up with the first team to score zero touchdowns in a season. Then they can interview Glenn at halftime. "We just need to tackle better and we will be fine"
