Weatherford glad to get away from Jets' special teams coach

He actually tied the NFL record for punts downed inside the 20 last season.

He was dreadful in the post season though. westhoff was very critical of him after last season so its not too shocking that he's taking some shots back.

I don't know whats more funny, a punter taking shots at a former coach, or our fans over reacting to it in such a silly way in thier thread.

 

I think it's because :

1.) He was the Jets punter

and

2.) He's now the Giants punter.


I think that plays a part.

 

Bottom line is, we just have to shut up and take our lumps. It is what it is. We sucked hairy balls this year. Further, our coach ran his fuckin mouth like an assclown.

 

He broke the NFL regular season record for punts inside the 20... he was GREAT in the season. Sucked in post-season but was still a much better punter than Conley.

HE also had GREAT directional punts...

 

What an ass! Funny how he did not say a thing until the giants made it into the SB.

 

I don't care if he was the Greatest Punter of All Fucking Time.....When the REAL GAMES(Postseason) came around, he STUNK, PERIOD.


And not just one year...but TWO YEARS.

 

It's a shame our kicker this year was even WORSE than Weatherford. I'd take Weatherford over Conley every fucking time. If you wouldn't you're a fool.

Weatherford is just speaking his mind after Westhoff went off on him earlier in the year. He's in the position to talk shit, we aren't.

Weatherford sucks & he totally crapped the bed in the post-season. No matter what he does over there w/ the Giants I'm glad he's not a Jet.

Nice regular-season punter but he let the team down in the playoffs so by all means let him go somewhere else and bad-mouth the Jets. It probably makes him forget how badly he stunk it up in his previous playoffrun.
