I'm gonna make this a drinking game; every time Collinsworth praises Peyton Manning, it's a shot 'o whiskey.
LOL...not worth abusing your body like that. Your blood alcohol level will be 5 times the legal limit, by the end of the 4th quarter. Furthermore, I am proud of Peyton for telling Bob Costas that Joe Buck makes him so mad, he "jumps up and down on the bed & screams at the TV." that was a fast drive. first 15 yards for illegal wedge, then 30 yards worth of penalties on hits on Manning. Huge for the Colts to get a fast TD before the half to put it out of reach.
I've actually done a complete 180 on Peyton Manning, I used to hate him but maybe I just wanted him to not win the Super Bowl. Somehow I find him alot more likeable and not as annoying now that they won it. Except those lifelock commercials with him and Archie and Eli.... those are torture. Plus watching him turn scrubs like Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie into good WRs is amazing. He is the best QB in the league right now. It's obviously debatable but it's hard to argue with him.
Just a few tidbits from yesterday's games It was fitting that the Patriots and the Broncos wore their throwbacks yesterday. It would have been more fitting if the Pats wore their original uniforms as these two teams played against each other in the first AFL game. Miles Austin was the 21st player in NFL history to gain 250 or more yards in an NFL game. Last time it was done was by Lee Evans on 11/19/06 when he had 11 receptions for 265 yards and 2 TDs. Chad Johnson gained over 250 yards the week prior on 11/12/2006 11 receptions 260 yards and 2 TDs.
