wow, so Upton became the second player in MLB history to hit into a DP in each of his first two WS ABs, after Graig Nettles. Weak popout in his third AB.

Kazmir probably doesn't finish the 6th.

ROFL looks like they kept on Maddon's audio just a little too long. The guy is pissed so they turn up the volume on him. What do you think he's gonna be saying? :)

    Ryan Howard:

20 playoff games batting cleanup in a good lineup. 6 RBI.

they were talking about Crawford's speed and "that's why it's important for Crawford to get on."

No, actually. The reason why it was important for him to get on is because if he didn't, the game is over.

And so it happened. These announcers don't think.

Righties hit .105 off Brad Lidge this season.

I think the Rays win tomorrow.

Despite last night I still like Tampa big in this series. Hamels is by far the best Philly has pitching wise, and I think Sheidls-Garza-Sonnanstine will dominate. That Rays offense is too good to not break out the bats in at least one or two of the games in this series.

Series is a toss-up for me.

    Dallas Green? ugh

Why is Baldelli starting tonight when he didn't start last night?

1-2-3 first for Shields, but it took 17 pitches, if I counted correctly.

Rays return the favor. Last night Phillies scored 2 in the first.

    last few World Series:

NL DHs are about .078 with 1 RBI and 15 strikeouts.

No wonder the AL has been successful lately. A big part of it is when the DHs are hitting worse than pitchers.

2nd inning: Phillies have 2nd and 3rd and no outs and don't score.
3rd inning: Phillies have runner on 2nd with no outs and don't score.

    Still 3-0 Rays.

Ump totally blew it on Baldelli.

add another strikeout, this time with runners on the corners and one out.

    Dobbs in two ABs:

    6 strikes, two balls
