If you asked me this question 5 years ago I would have emphatically said no. Hell, even three years ago. Any point before "The List" is a definite no vote. Now, given that we know some of the biggest names of the past couple generations are tainted, and I think it's safe to assume that if the names are ever actually public we'd see a lot more, it's hard to hold it against anyone anymore. The only thing that sucks is that there will be some borderline guys who won't get in who didn't cheat. But overall, I think it's safe to assume that there were more guys using than not, so that should be factored out. That said, McGwire's numbers are sick. Argue one-dimensionality all you want, he was a phenominal power hitter. He's a 1st ballot HoFer without the scandal.
