tough break for Melky, hit a nice opposite field line drive, but right at Chipper who made a nice catch

Here comes Matsui to pinch hit. Why do I feel like this will be a situation of different asian, same results.

as much as I love Jeter, he has been horrible lately. Grounding into a double play every time he has the chance to. It's getting bad.

Mike Francesa was right. That last Boston series really took its toll on the team. We're playing with absolutely no heart, and it shows in our bats - or lack thereof.

I wonder what Hughes will have to do to get back into the rotation? Or how bad CMW will have to be... one of the two has to give eventually

How often is Asshat Mcgrew going to swing at the first pitch. Fart on people in the clubhouse and do your bullshit gnarly hand salute if you want but how about we play fundamental baseball you shithead.

And Michael Kay's impersonation of a black woman fails to disappoint.

    Fuck thought Tex has it.

    Hughes looking very good again.

Braves used a PH with an even lower BA than A-Rod. Strange choice as a pinch-hitter.

Mike Gonzalez's motion meet Craig Counsell's batting stance.

Wang looked decent today til the 3rd. But even then, came back strong to finish the 5th. Our offense looks like shit...again and we're back to leaving RISPs.

this will be Hughes' last inning of work, since he's currently posed to hit in the 2-hole next inning. Hopefully his 3rd can be as good as his first 2 were

EDIT: scratch that, Girardi took Hughes out for some reason... at least he brought in Robertson and not Tomko. I'm actually pretty high on Robertson. Maybe taking him out after 2 was precautionary in case he has to start in place of CC on Friday or if CC can't go deep into the game?

Wang probably earned himself another start after today's outing, not sure how I feel about that

Gardner - probably Damon - Jeter due up. Hopefully another GIDP doesn't happen if Gardner or the PH get one base...
