Apparently, because it wasn't raining in Queens in the first or second inning. Swisher probably would've been out had Howard dropped that popup. He was running to second.
I wonder how they know which celebrities are there. Unless they're sitting in special seats/sections, they'd probably have to have someone scanning the crowd. I also wonder whether celebrities have special sources for tickets, or do they just buy them off other fans. Jeff Gordon, for example. He doesn't have season tickets, that's for sure.
they usually get network tickets because they are connected to something the network has airing in the near future. a show or in gordons case a nascar race.
^^^ Yeah, you're right. A lot of the celebrities they show probably do have some connection to FOX. I know networks like to get stars of their shows to come so they can use it as a sort of advertisement. ABC does that a lot with the NBA. I think the World Series is on tape delay.
That's NOT A SWING!!!!!!!!!!! and that's a Double play!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here we go with the ineptitude!!!
Agree and agree. Cano clearly did not go around and that's obviously a double play. They finally get it right after the huddle. Matsui should have gone back to the base.
Matsui is wrong but the Ump didn't make the out call properly...the call on Cano by the 3rd base ump was horrendous & the total job by the umps this entire postseason has been nothing short of criminal
